The Dragon Prince hopes to continue in that tradition. A charming, thoughtful, and action-packed animated series about warring fantasy nations that was never condescending and always deeply humane, Avatar was rewarding, thrilling television. Any serious discussion about the best TV shows of the last 20 years should at least consider Avatar: The Last Airbender.
